Many people's desire is to build a Home Based Business. They aim to have a comfortable life working from home. However, building a home-based business takes time and effort and many give up after a couple of months.

So what that means is that you need your mindset tweaked properly. You need your mind, set properly.
Online Home Based Business is Like Any Business
In today's session, I'm going to go over 5 initial concepts of how to set your mind for success. If you start a Home Based Business without having your mindset properly, you will fail miserably, get frustrated, and quit.
The one thing I, personally, do not like about making money from home is that so many people look at it as an instant thing. Everything on the internet is instant. When it comes to building a home-based business, people think the money is also instant. They do not realize that it's like any other business. It takes time and effort to build it to the point where it will provide you with a residual income.
The problem here is that the Internet put people in the mindset that everything is instant. Everything is now. If you want to send a message across the world, you can do it now. Buy something? now. want to watch a movie? now. Just press a button and here’s the movie, for next to nothing.
When it comes to a Home-Based Business, that's not the case. Because business takes time to develop, it takes time for people to recognize you and trust you and then buy from you. A home-based business is just like any other business.

I'm going to show you how to present yourself, how to give before you want anything back, how to build your reputation online in such a way that people will follow you in droves and eventually will buy from you in droves and then you will make a lot of money so it is a step by step process. It takes time, but the beauty of a Home Based Business is that it doesn't take as long as what I call a tangible business. A tangible business is like any store in the street for example. People buy a business and it takes them on average 3 years to achieve success if they survive 3 years.
Sylvester Stallone tells how he struggled as a starting actor. All he wanted was to sell a script he wrote, and nobody would buy it from him. They would reject him and he would get knocked down thousands of times, but every time he got up and kept going. His famous speech to his son on the movie Rocky, where Stallone teaches his son something about life, is the essence of building a home-based business.
He says: " it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!" and It's the same in business. the more times you survive a failure and keep going the closer you are to succeed.
Believe me, there are many difficulties with establishing and then running a home-based business. You will get knocked down but if you stick with me I will provide you with a wealth of information on how to survive these obstacles and keep going towards success.
You would need patience, a lot of patients. You also need knowledge and a strategy. You don't need a lot of money but a lot of time.
Your Attitude Reflects in Your Home Business
The first thing is your attitude. How do you set your attitude toward success?

Attitude is all about how you look at things in your life.
For example, here’s an opportunity like a Home Based Business. Looking on Google I’ve found hundreds of thousands of people every month searching on Google for this keyword: Home Business. Why? because they want to work from home and make money. Why? because they’re sick of commuting, they don't want to get stuck in traffic jams, they’re sick of being abused at work by the boss and peers, they’re sick of poor wage, of not getting ahead in life, they’re sick of not having enough time with their kids, of not having enough energy to really do what they want to do.
Bob Proctor will tell you in every single of his programs: ‘what do you really want’, what is it that YOU, really want. Dig deep inside and ask yourself what do you really want in life?
What would get you content, happy, healthy and provide you with money and quality of life?
And if you don't have that, then you compromise and believe me many people are sick of compromising and I believe you, my reader is one of them.
The Secret is That There's No Secret
Jim Rohn coined the phrase ‘opportunity with difficulty’
He tells a story about how he once sat in an executive team meeting in a company in Hawaii and they asked him: “Jim, you know a lot of people in the world”. This was at the beginning of the 1980’s. “Can you tell us what the 80s are going to be like? you’ve got a lot of contacts you know what's going on, what the 80s would be like?” and Jim answered: “Gentlemen, you’ve come to the right person. I do have a lot of contacts, and I do know exactly what the 80s would be like” So they all leaned over and he said to them: “gentlemen the 1980s would be about like... it always has been. You will have opportunity with difficulty. A home-based business is just that!
If you are looking for a magic bullet, there isn’t any. It's about getting up in the morning... guys you wanna succeed with a business at home online? listen to this.
This is the first thing you need to internalize:
Get up in the morning as early as possible, do some exercise, do some yoga, do some meditation, stretch yourself and move the body, and then sit in front of your computer and do the work needs done step by step until you succeed.
Jim Rohn mentions this word in his programs: “UNTIL” is a magic word. Until you succeed, never give up.
There’s no magic bullet. Many programs out there that teach you how to succeed in your niche and they’re free, but it's a lot of material to go through, so yes, it's difficult, but it's an opportunity, and it comes with difficulty.
Profits Are Better Than Wages. Jim Rohn
You see, what is opportunity without difficulty? let's say that the government raises taxes suddenly from 30% to 90%. That’s difficult. So what? everybody’s paying the same tax. What are you going to do about it? don't wait until the government lower the tax. Don't look for less problems look for more skills, attain more skill. Because even if the taxis are 99% you still make money and you can do a lot about it. It's never going to go to this level but my point is that no matter how difficult it is, an opportunity is out there and you should grab it and make use of it and get it to work for you.
One of the best ways to do it is starting a Home-Based Business, and I'm going to guide you through step-by-step process overtime on how to succeed with it.
One last thing about attitude. Jim says: “profits are better than wages” Why? because if you have a business that makes a profit that’s so much better than wages, it's so much more money than wages. A home-based business is a marvellous opportunity to make huge profits.
If you earn wages in your workplace, it’s dangerous. The first thing is it's caped. it's got a ceiling over it, and you can't break the ceiling. You can wait 10 million years for a raise and you might get $1 an hour. By the time they give you a raise prices all around you have gone up way more than the $1 an hour can provide you with. If you, however, run a business, you determine the price, quality of service, the deal that you provide and you will make a profit. So profits are better than wages. Work on your business, don't work on your job - work on yourself.
Setting Goals is About What you Become
While this is not a workshop about setting goals I will brief you about setting goals because it is part of the first five principles on how to set your mind and how to look at things the right way so that you succeed with your home-based business.
You got to set goals. When you approach business set your goals. Ask yourself where do you want to be 6 months from now? 12 months from now? 5 years from now? 10 years from now? what's your goal? what's your level of income? where do you want to live? what car do you want to drive? think about all these things. When you set a goal, you have got to set it really really high, because if you're setting an easy goal to achieve you would not be satisfied when you get it and you’ll say to yourself: “so what?”
The whole idea behind setting a crazy goal is to become the new you in the process of achieving this goal.
Let's talk about money because everybody wants money, let's say you want to make a million dollars starting 12 months from now. How are you going to do this? There are numerous step by step guides all over the internet on how to achieve this. A home-based business is a great tool to achieve this goal and more.
Grant Cardone for example, says this: “ask yourself who's got my money?"
Here are 5 questions to ask yourself, and then find the answer:
- In order to achieve my first million in 12 months who should I target to buy my product or service? In other words - who is my home-based business' target market? or who’s got my money?
- What am I going to do to get this money?
- What service or product am I going to sell through my home-based business?
- What is the price tag for each time I provide my service or product?
- How many of those do I need to sell within 12 months to get to a million?

What A $1,000,000 Goal Would Make of You
Let's talk about setting a goal to get a million dollar as this is quite high for most of us.
The whole idea of setting goals is not to get the million dollars but what you become on the way to there.
Because when you realize what you need to do to succeed with your home-based business, you start acting like a millionaire.
You would say: 'hey, I need to get up at 5 a.m. keep fit by exercising every morning, I do maybe need to go to join a gym, eat healthy, no more junk food, no more pizzas because it's convenient, keep working until I finish tasks and not be distracted by 10 million things.' etc.
Over time when you repeatedly do all these things, you become a successful person. It's about what you become because you better yourself all the time. It's an awesome process. I have changed myself just from listening to self-development programs. I’ve listened to Kurek Ashley, Brian Tracy and Jim Rohn to start with and then I found them on YouTube. There are entire free programs on YouTube. You wouldn't believe what's available. All you need to do is spend time studying the content, think about what you study, and apply.
Don't worry too much if you don't achieve your goal in time. What does a deadline even mean? The word DEAD is negative. So why do we use it when we want to achieve something that would make us feel good? say that by the 5th of November you are going to achieve your million. If you didn't achieve it, assess why not and give yourself a reasonable extension.
